In training to
become an
Assistant
Instructor
you will
concentrate on
the development
of your
Knowledge
Development
(Classroom),
Confined Water
(Pool), and Open
Water (Ocean)
presentations to
Instructor
demonstration
quality. As a PADI
Assistant
Instructor
you will be able to act as an
instructional assistant to a PADI Instructor, or be able to independently
conduct many
programs!
The total training fee is $500.00 and paid directly
to the Instructor.
In addition you
MUST
sign-up and
complete the
on-line
PADI eLearning -
Instructor
Development
Course
($320.00 fee to
PADI).

In
order to become
a PADI
Assistant
Instructor, you must first already be
a PADI Divemaster (or equivalent).
You MUST
complete the
on-line
PADI eLearning -
Instructor
Development
Course
before the IDC
begins.

You must be 18
years or older and be certified in CPR and First Aid. You must also have
logged at least 60 dives to begin the program. |

Medical
Requirement
For the
Assistant
Instructor
program you will need to have a signed Medical Release form from your doctor
before you can participate in any in-water activities.
